Genesis 36:34 informs us that Chusham of Teman (Arabia) succeeded Yovav (יובב) as king of Edom (cf 1 Chronicles 1:45).
The name means "haste".
1 Chronicles 7:12 has Chushim (חושים), either as descendants of Bin-Yamin out of Yedi'a-El and Acher, or an un-named "other" (Acher in Yehudit means "other"), or as a separate tribe associated with the Benjamites alongside Chupim and Mupim.
1 Chronicles 8:8 has Chushim (חושים) as a wife of Shacharayim of Mo-Av.
Chushai (חושי) the Arcite was a friend of King David (2 Samuel 15:32-37) at the time of the failed coup by his son Av-Shalom (Absalom).
Chushah (חושה) appears as an individual in 1 Chronicles 4:4, and as a tribe - Sibchai the Chushati (סִבְּכַי הַחֻשָׁתִי) - in 11:29 and 20:4, as well as in 2 Samuel 21:18.
