Genesis 10:14 names it as an Egyptian tribe out of Mitsrayim ben Cham, which is rather splendid really, given that Mitsrayim was one of the two principal names for Egypt, and Chem the other.
See also 1 Chronicles 1:12, which states that this was the source of the Pelishtim (Philistines), which ought to make the Kasluchim Cretans, since that was the land from which the Pelishtim first came. However, from the name, it is much more probably Colchis, which was a Greek colony of Egypt, and of course it may have been a Cretan Greek colony.
