Genesis 10:10: one of the cities of Nimrod in the land of Shinar (Sumer).
Isaiah 10:9 gives Kalno (כלנו); Amos 6:2 likewise, in the Yehudit, though most English translations assume it is Kalneh and so give it as Kalneh. There is nothing in the texts however to endorse this assumption, and they could perfectly well be two different places.
