The plain of the river Yarden (Jordan), from the Yam ha Melach (Dead Sea) to the Red Sea; Lot seems to have settled its northern part, and in Genesis 13:10 ff Lot and Av-Raham parted company there. It is not really a part of Yisra-El at all however, but runs through Edom.
